Religion.

Faith influences our behaviour pattern, mental attitude as well as moral values. Religious system goes beyond naturalistic explanation of the world; it is more an experience based on presupposed since of nature.

Faith becomes a part of a person’s identity. People define themselves as being Christs, Moslems, or Jews, or practice other religions.

In Germany, due to multicultural population, religious backgrounds have developed respectively. Most of the population of the Rhine County Neuss belongs to Christian congregations. Less numerous groups declare their faith in Muhammad as well as other religious communities.

Apart from Christian houses of God, there are, for example, several mosques in Neuss and one in the centre of Grevenbroich. A former synagogue in Hülchrath-Grevenbroich now serves as a center for cultural events.
