The AmCham Germany is a private organisation that represents more than 3,000 German and American enterprises. It is one of the oldest and largest bilateral economic organisations in Europe.
AmCham Germany's mission is to promote unrestricted competition, trade and investment between Germany and the United States. To achieve this aim the organisation is represented in national and international governmental committees and offers contacts and research for its members. The business journal Commerce Germany is published five times a year and the German American Business Guide appears annually.
The headquarter of the AmCham Germany is in Berlin, an executive office is located in Frankfurt, local representatives are in 13 German cities including Düsseldorf and an office is also in Washington, DC.
