Welcome to Dusseldorf and welcome to the British Women' s Club, BWC. The BWC offers many activities that help to settle in and make new friends. Founded in 1946 the club has grown to 150 members. Women from all ages and all walks of life form the community and share fun and life together at the club.

The aims of the BWC are of non-profit basis. The club is strongly involved in charity work and meets regularly to develop interests and talents with each other. Active members are British women and women from Commonwealth Nations and the daughters of British and Commonwealth parents. Associate membership comprises all other nationalities.

The Club program offers many activity groups like bridge, mah-jong, badminton, museum or music clubs and evening meetings in a pub or restaurant. For younger and the young at heart members, a cinema evening with English films such as a baby group for young mums that belong to the club. Special activities are reported in their Newsletter riddled with interesting information about the Club and the events for the current month.

The Club year runs from January to December. Membership is obtained upon completion of an application form (email the Membership Secretary directly for a form) which should be returned together with the annual subscription of €65. Members joining after 1st July pay only €35 for the year.
