New, innovative and extremely trendy, the KIT - Art in the Tunnel, KIT - Kunst im Tunnel, on the shores of the Rhine is in the free space left by the construction of the shore tunnel tube which is 888 m² in volume and 140 metres long. However, the really interesting fact is that the five-metre-high space narrows elliptically from a width of eleven metres down to only one metre.

This space could not find a better purpose and the gallery houses young art particularly by recent graduates of the Kunstakademie. With the opening exhibit Hotel of Kerberis, artists have created paintings and sculptures especially for the space itself.

Above, the Café of Curtiz offers food and drinks. As a special service visitos can join a guided tour every Sunday from 3 pm free of charge. A great offer that shouldn't be missed. It’s a wonderful chance to visit a subterranean museum.
