The Deutsche Oper am Rhein is a theatrical collaboration of the cities of Dusseldorf and Duisburg. Germany’s biggest opera ensemble offers impressive operas, operettas, ballet and musicals.
Besides varying performances like Elektra, Faust and La clemenza di Tito for the adult audience the so-called "young opera" is a project specialised for children. These theatrical-educational plays can be held by appointment each season.
Developed as a prototype and built according to the design of Shakespeare's stage, some demand this highly popular location be recreated for other projects.
