The village of Zons located on the Rhine River near Dormagen and north of Düsseldorf. Zons is important historically site originating from the late Middle Ages.
Today it is not only a location of cultural significance but Kreismuseum Zons has given the ancient buildings a functional touch.
The site (Kreismuseum Zons) is used for a veriety of exhibitions and events such as the traditional Advent market around Christmas time and where you can marvel at different crafts.
In addition to the historical site there's also an excellent concert hall.
Zons is an ideal cultural place for a weekend visit or take part in one of the many activities.
