Drugstores.

They are a mixture of supermarket and pharmacy: drugstores. One can find cures and tinctures, wellness products and cosmetics as well as organic food and products for home and garden.
Previously only pharmacies were allowed to sell herbs, but as early as 1872 drugstores started selling them too. Since 1970 drugstore chains as they are existing today started business and broadened the conventional drugstore's product range. The most well-known chains in Germany are Schlecker, dm, Rossmann and Ihr Platz. All together have about 13.500 shops in Germany.
