The sponsoring of various exhibitions such as Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen and Philip Treacy over the past few years have made Igedo an important supporter of art and fashion.

This summer, a new print campaign for the upcoming Igedo Fashion Fairs will focus Igedo’s commitment on fashion photography. Connected with the Canon ProFashional Photo Award, 22 fashion motifs from 19 internationally renowned photographers will show the diverse aspects of fashion and run topically through all of the fairs' style worlds and their segments.

As a very important medium in the fashion industry, fashion photography combines the artistic vision of fashion with the subtle aesthetics of photography. The Canon ProFashional Photo Award Ceremony 2007 takes place on Monday 23 July at the Igedo Fashion Fairs Düsseldorf. The goals of the award are to create new contacts and to strengthen the connection between the fashion and the photography scene.

A highlight will be the hanging of the world’s largest fashion photograph. Alongside this, a selection of photographs will show the diversity of the Igedo Fashion Fairs Düsseldorf.
