Notable Functions during the Igedo Fashion Fairs 22 till 24 July

The fashion scene knows how to party. During the Igedo Fashion Fairs Dusseldorf, the city will be taken over by trend makers and models alike. Not only the fair grounds will be affected by their glamour, but also many locations in the city.
The following events are just a selection of what will be on offer:
Petra German Fashion Award, 21 July 2007 - Petra is the name of one of Germany’s most sold women’s magazines. The Petra German Fashion awards is a gathering of stars and starlets from the international fashion scene, movie and business. The event will take place on July 21st at 7.30 pm in the Düsseldorfer Turbinenhalle. Awards will be given in seven categories; accessories, business wear, casual wear and occasional wear for women. By invitation only.
Anja Gockel Presentation, 22 July 2007 - This young designer came to fame when her outfits were presented in the last episode of the Germany’s next Topmodel series this year. Her fashion show will run at 11.00 am in Fashion Theatre, Hall 12. Frisky designs and the use of different fabrics in flattering colours are a signature feature of the 39 year-old fashion designer from Mainz.

Vogue Cocktail, 22 July 2007 - On Sunday, July 22nd, at 8.00 pm the famous Vogue Cocktail will bring together the fashion prominence. The internationally active Vogue Magazine is one of the leading magazines for fashion and beauty and enjoys an excellent reputation by millions of readers. The splendid Regierungsschlösschen will serve as an ideal location for the Vogue Cocktail. By invitation only.
Marimekko, 23 July 2007 - The Finnish label Marimekko is a creation house that convinces with very sober designs. The most famous classic of the clothing range is the bicoloured striped T-shirt. The show on the catwalk at 12.30 pm in hall 14 will present selected pieces of its newest collection. A Lifestyle-Show will be held later on the same day at 7.00 pm in NRW Forum, Ehrenhof 2.
Bunte New Faces Award, 23 July 2007 - The Bunte is one of Germany’s largest magazine’s for society gossip, fashion and trends. During the Igedo Fashion Fairs Bunte will present the New Faces Award 2007 with a spectacular evening arrangement. The function will start at 8.00 pm in Rheinterrassen. By invitation only.
