Rhein-Kreis Neuss benefits from its ideal location between the three airports of Cologne, Dusseldorf and Weeze.

Düsseldorf International is the most important airport for the people living in Rhein-Kreis Neuss, because of its near location and 590 flights daily to 170 destinations. But thanks to the motorway A57/E31, Cologne Bonn Airport and Airport Weeze are feasable alternatives.

Cologne Bonn Airport boasts approximately 9 million passengers annually and profits particularly from low cost airlines – increases are firmly expected. 139 destinations in 38 countries bear witness to the airports’ importance to North Rhine-Westphalia as a hub to the whole world.

And finally, a special place to start into your holidays is Airport Weeze, that has destinations located generally within Europe, but even to Marrakech in Morocco and to Erbil in Iraq, too. It is an ambitious airport, which is shown by the facts: in the first half year of 2007 there are twice as many employees than in the year before and about 56 per cent more passengers in July 2007 compared to the previous month. Next year there are more than one million tourists scheduled.

In contrast, the airport Dusseldorf-Mönchengladbach with its weekly single flight to Heringsdorf on the Baltic Sea coast– without a doubt a beautiful place – is unfortunately is no real option.
