Ilvericher Altrheinschlinge is a unique geomorphological formation originating from the Ice Age. Altrheinschlinge has many animal and plant species, for example for the Common Teal, the Eurasian Hobby, the Little Grebe, the Water Rail, the oriole, the Little Owl and the Water Violet.
