Take a break, take a picturesque countryside route instead of the "normal" way. Rhine County Neuss offers many ways of escaping from the daily routine. It's there for everyone to enjoy.
Zons is a wonderful example how marvelous the countryside can be. In the east, Zons sits on the Rhine. On the other side of the Rhine there is a 3 kilometer path that leads to idyllic and historically Düsseldorf-Urdenbach.
Urdenbach is situated in the southernmost part of Düsseldorf. Its beautiful location and it's vicinity to the nature reserve Urdenbacher Kämpe promises an unforgettable experience for any nature lover.
There are a number of half-timbered houses and ancient churches from the 17th and 18th century. The castle Garath and the cultural center castle Benrath is also nearby.
Two kilometers to the north of Zons is the Zonser Heide. The Zonser Heide is a feast for animal lovers. There are wild boars, guinea pigs, pheasants, and many other animals in outdoor enclosures. Great fun for families.
